AN INDIAN COPPER AND SILVER WIRE-INLAID WOODEN DISH
Possibly Hoshiarpur or Kashmir, Northern India, late 19th - early 20th century
Of circular shape, with a short, curved, and everted rim, the interior decorated with a central floral medallion in-filled with a three-headed bird, the rounded petals containing vegetal meanderings, a scroll of lotus flowers around the rim, the exterior with stylised elongated flower petals encased within fretwork bands, 27cm diam.
