Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting the Monkey God Hanuman prostrating in front of Rama and Lakshmana, showing his devotion to the Hindu God, Rama reaching out, encouraging Hanuman to rise up, set within white rules, and silver, blue and red borders, backed on wasli paper with several black ink annotations, 25.2cm x 17.4cm.
