An early 20^th century German sterling silver snuff box, Kesselstadt by Karl Kurz, import marks for Chester 1908 by Montague Friedlander

In the 18^th century French style, of rectangular form with canted corners, each side with embossed decoration of a boss of roses within stars, edged with guilloche borders. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with German marks and import marks and part-marks to the lid.
