A pair of George V sterling silver sauceboats, London 1913 by Sebastian Garrard
In the George II style, of plain bellied form with scrolling gadrooned rim, the C scroll handle with moulded edge and acanthus thumb piece, with shell junction. The underside of the lip with cast and applied husk shell and pendant drop. Both raised on a single oval pedestal foot with concave gadrooned border. Fully marked to shoulder and stamped underneath ‘Garrard & Co Ltd, Abermarle St London.W.’ with a numeral 4 and ‘RegD AppD for’. (2)
