A George IV early 19th century unmarked gold seal, circa 1825

Fluted domed form with a reeded edge and a chased central stem. The carnelian seal intaglio cut with a coat of arms surmounted by a bald-headed coot, in a Roman setting. 15 carat.

Height – 2.7 cm / 1.05 inches

Weight – 9.5 grams

The arms and crest are for Coode, Cornwall
