A mid-20th century Tibetan unmarked silver bowl, circa 1950
Of rounded circular form upon four cast feet, with opposable ring handles with terminals formed as snow lion heads. The body with four applied seated Bodhisattva, all reserved with foliate scrolls. The underside with six of the Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism; the endless knot, the Two Golden Fish, the Precious Parasol, the White Conch Shell, the Vase of Great Treasures, the Vase of Great Treasures.
