FOUR DEVOTIONAL BRONZE STATUETTES OF THE HINDU GODDESS PARVATI
India, late 18th and 19th centuries
Comprising four bronze-cast statuettes of Parvati, each sculpture presenting the goddess standing upright on a circular lotus pedestal, holding a lotus flower in her left hand, the right arm stretched outward and the hand gently bent inward to form one of the classical standing poses of Hindu tradition, the tallest 11.5cm high.
