A PAIR OF CHINESE DOUCAI 'DRAGON' SAUCER DISHES.

Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng mark and of the period.

The interior of each dish is decorated in underglaze blue and vibrant enamels with a central roundel enclosing a coiled five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amongst scrolling cloud, all within a border of four further lingzhi-shaped clouds, the exterior decorated with a band of frothy waves beneath clouds, the base with a six character mark within a double circle, 12cm diameter.
