Opaque pigments heightened with gold and silver on paper, comprising three love-making scenes with Rajput rulers wearing articulate and heavily bejewelled turbans and their female companions, two night scenes, each painting set on a terrace in a palatial compound, framed within black, white and yellow rules, and polychrome borders, two paintings on later thicker red and dark green cardboard mounts featuring Sotheby's provenance stickers at the back, the largest 28.5cm x 21cm.
