The near-square, flat green hardstone engraved in Persian nasta’liq calligraphy in reverse with a line of poetry praising true faith and saints' devotion, the plain silver mount with decorative openwork to comply with sumptuary rules regarding precious metals, the metal stamped twice Najaf and Tous, the stone 2.3cm x 2.4cm, the ring 3cm high.
