AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FRAGMENT OF BASTET Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. The upper half of cat-headed Bastet is depicted with pierced ears and wearing a tightly-fitting dress with incised vertical stripes, holding a sistrum in her left hand, 5.8cm high. Provenance: French private collection.
