AN ANTIQUE TABRIZ CARPET, NORTH-WEST PERSIA approx: 12ft.11in. x 10ft.3in.(394cm. x 312cm.) Very good type and nicely drawn design with floral and leafy vine and double concentric floral medallions. Arabesque and floral spandrels. All surrounded by floral sprays, cypress trees and floral meander border between floral stripes. this carpet has slightly corroded black in few small dot like place, very light localized wear to the top pile at one side, barely visible. otherwise fgood pile. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition throughout, good size. Very good furnishing piece, ca.1910
