Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting Lord Rama and Sita enthroned, hosting a durbar (reception) at court, next to them two faithful attendants with fly-whisks, a brahmin blessing Rama in the centre, to the left several kings and members of Sugriva's court, Hanuman the King of Monkeys, knelt in front of Rama and holding his foot, the scene set within silver and red borders, backed on wasli paper, 27.7cm x 23cm.
