Both jars of ovoid form depicting garden verandas with flourishing banana trees and fine rockery, the larger jar decorated with three ladies watching a playful child, the other painted with two ladies playing chess accompanied by their attendant, each cover with a double-banded circular panel enclosing a boy frolicking beside a dragonfly with floral sprays on the sides, the base with a four character Chenghua mark within a circular cartouche, 14cm H, 15cm H.
