The Bikaner Regiment Camel Corps was founded in Bikaner and was a unit of Imperial Service Troops that fought in World War I and World War II. The Corps was founded by Maharaja Ganga Singh. At the time, the state of Bikaner had long utilised camels as a vehicle for soldiers.
The National Army Museum, London, also display depictions of the Bikaner unit such as this one.
