A FINE SAROUK CARPET, WEST PERSIA, approx; 353cm. x 276cm. Very good example for this type with elegant overall design of scrolling floral and leafy vine. Colours are very well balanced. This carpet has touches of slight wear to the top pile in few places, otherwise the pile is good. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, small area of slightly fraying guard stripe. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
