A VERY LARGE CHINESE SILVER 'DRAGON' BOWL.

Qing Dynasty, circa 1900.

Of hemispherical form with an applied moulded rim, upon a domed circular foot raised by three two-section die-cast feet formed as dragons with applied saw cut frilled neck, the body with two die-cast and applied Chinese dragons chasing the mystic pearl, formed as a vacant circular cartouche edged with saw cut and applied flames heightened with engraving, marked to the underside with WC (Wing Chun, Hong Kong, circa 1860-1915), 90 and artisan mark KUN HE (Shanghai, circa 1880-1925), 30cm diameter, 20cm H, 2693g.
