Tocher & Tocher were a small company working in Bangalore circa 1906-1968, their mount's were in such a similar style to that of the much larger company of Van Ingen Van Ingen that some orders were subcontracted to Tocher & Tocher to complete when Van Ingen Van Ingen were too busy to fulfil orders in a timely manner. This short period of business increases the rarity of such mounts.
