A late 19th century Austrian 800 standard silver sugar box (zuckerdose), Vienna circa 1890 by Hermann Südfeld (active 1883-1909)
Of rectangular form upon four scroll and ribbon feet. The hinged lid with a simple thumbpiece and a locking mechanism (key deficient), the body and lid with embossed tied ribbon swags. Marked to base and lid with assay mark and makers mark H.S.
