Central and Southern India, 18th - 19th century

Comprising fourteen bronze devotional icons, mostly of miniature size, including two versions of Shiva on Horseback; two Dancing Krishna; Krishna with the flute; Enthroned Durga; two Standing Vishnu; and further Shaivite avatars, the tallest 23.5cm high; and a bronze temple bell, with a conical foot and a ringed shaft, at the top a winged angel as finial, his forehead marked with the Urdhva Pundra typical of Vaishnava believers and his hands held together in the anjali mudra (prayer position), 36cm high.
