A late 19th / early 20th century Burmese provincial silver bowl, Upper Burma circa 1900
Of compressed circular form with embossed decoration of various figures, and an elephant, interspersed with Burmese rosewood trees, against a ring punched ground, all below a border of trailing foliage, and above a cross-hatched band. The underside flat chased with an encircled peacock.
