AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY CHINESE EXPORT SILVER DISH, SHANGHAI CIRCA 1900 RETAILED BY LUEN WO
Qing dynasty, of shaped circular form with a pierced and embossed rim of three Chinese dragons amidst clouds, the centre with embossed Chinese dragon amidst clouds. Marked to the reverse with retailers mark LW and artisan mark SHAO JI 紹記. Together with an early to mid-20th century Thai silver and niello circular box, Bangkok circa 1920-40, nielloed with vignettes of deities between flame scroll borders. Also with a late 20th century Thai silver cigarette box, circa 1980, the hinged lid with an embossed three headed elephant (Erawan) reserved with foliate scrolls. Faux wooden interior. Stamped underneath SIAM. (3)
