A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver rose water sprinkler (gulab pash), Cutch circa 1880
Raj period. The globular body upon a short cylindrical pedestal foot. The detachable tall baluster stem terminating in a chased foliate terminal. Decorated throughout with deep chased foliate scrolls and rosettes against a textured ground, the junction below the screw thread formed as lobed sections, repeated to underside of globular section.
Height – 31.5 cm / 12.5 inches
Weight – 561 grams / 18.04 ozt
