Well potted with rounded shoulders and a tapering baluster body on a slightly flaring foot, finely painted in rich blue tones with a continuous peony scroll, an undulating leafy stem bearing four large blooms, between narrow bands of classic scroll and a diaper band, the shoulder with a four-pointed trefoil collar alternately enclosing a lotus leaf and flower reserved on a ground of waves, below a further classic scroll band, all above upright lotus panels, later mounted as a lamp, 38cm H.
