Large album, probably used as a French lighting trade catalogue, c.1880-1890, containing 150 prints depicting chandeliers and lighting fixtures, primarily albumen, with a small number of silver glelatin prints, and a small number of silver gelatin prints, image sizes approx. 280 x 215mm, many with title and attribution in the negative, loosely mounted into corners on album leaves, recto and verso. Many of the fixtures fRoyal Palaces including Versailles, Fontainbleu, Grand Trianon, as well as museum collections, including the Louvre, Carnavalet, and more.
