An early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver part- tea service, Cutch circa 1900

Raj period. Comprising a teapot and a covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of spherical form raised upon four feet with chased leafy junctions. The teapot with a curved spout opposite a C scroll handle leading to a domed lid surmounted by a finial of a caparisoned elephant statant. The bodies with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes. Each side with a vacant shield shape cartouche. (2)
