A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'IMMORTALS' VASES.

Early 20th Century.

Each with a tall ovoid body and a waisted neck with a garlic mouth, painted with Shoulao holding a large peach and Magu carrying a tray laden with fruit and a teapot, both figures clothed in colourful flowing robes, with four character seal marks to the bases reading Juren tang zhi, 34.5cm H. (2)

Provenance: from the collection of Rosina Priscilla Cope (1908 - 1995), thence by descent to the present owner.
