Possibly Deccan or Northern India, 18th century
Of typical mango-like shape, resting on a splayed circular foot, rising to an everted neck, with a faceted cylindrical spout on one side and a sinuous handle designed as a peacock's tail on the latter, the bottom terminal of the handle in the shape of a makara head, 13.5cm at the highest point.
