Half-title, without the advert for The Shoulde3r of Shasta, but with the 8pp publisher’s catalogue at the end, printed on uncoated wove paper, original yellow cloth, lettered in yellow, spine darkened and lacking the top half with title and author lettering, covers finger marked, corners bumped and rubbed, later ownership inscription on front endpaper, and lacking rear end-paper, 8vo., 1897
