NOTES: Pablo Seminario was born in Perú in 1948 and worked as an architect in Lima. In 1979, he moved to Urubamba, located close to Cusco, where he met his partner Marilú Behar, and together they developed their ceramic art studio. Seminario integrates elements from the ancient Peruvian cultures in his creations. His ceramic pieces have received several awards, including the Nacional Joaquín López Antay award. His pieces are exhibited in many museums, including the MAP (Pre-Colombian Art Museum in Cusco), The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, and the Field Museum of Chicago.
