Of circular shape, resting on a short foot, rising to a wide everted rim, the interior decorated with polychrome pietra dura inlays including segments of jasper, carnelian, lapis lazuli, serpentine and polychrome marble arranged in bands of elegant floral scrollwork reminiscent of pietra dura architectural panels at the Taj Mahal in Agra, 22.8cm diam.
