A CHINESE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL 'LOTUS POND' DISH.

Late Ming Dynasty.

Decorated to the centre with a pair of egrets and a kingfisher flying above and wadding in a dark pond among lotus blossoms and foliage, the cavetto and rim with stylised floral bands, the reverse with further lotus blossoms, all on a turquoise ground, 18.5cm diameter, 234g.

Provenance: sold in these rooms on September 1st 2015, lot 53.
