Comprising an elongated oval miniature plaque with the portrait of a Qajar courtly lady, heavily bejewelled and dressed in pink, 4.1cm x 2.7cm; and a circular miniature plaque with the portrait of a young male aristocrat or member of the court, wearing a black Astrakhan fur kaj kolah, set in gold with a pin at the back, 2cm x 1.5cm.
