A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver tea caddy, Cutch circa 1890
Raj period. Of cylindrical form with chased beaded rims, the pull off domed lid with a chased linier central section surmounted by a finial formed as an eagle. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls, populated with birds, the front with a vacant shield shape cartouche.
