A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'MILLEFLEURS' VASE.

Qing Dynasty, six character Qianlong mark and probably of the period.

Finely painted with an array of polychrome blossoms and foliage tightly covering the tall ovoid body and the short waisted neck, the rim picked out with gilt, the interior and underside enamelled turquoise and embellished with an iron-red seal mark, 33.5cm H. (2)

Provenance: acquired in 2008, formerly an English collection, Shrubland Hall, Suffolk, acquired in late 19th century, by repute.
