AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF OSIRIS Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Circa 664 - 525 B.C. Depicted mummiform, his hands emerging from the cloth at his chest, grasping a was-sceptre and an ankh, he wears the tall white crown of Upper Egypt with a frontal uraeus, 12.6cm high, (15cm high inc. base)  Provenance: Property from the collection of Arthur and Marjorie Silver; Ex Sotheby's 12 December 1991, lot 296; Ex Sotheby's New York, 1 June 95, lot 227; Private collection of a lady, Rome.
