A George III sterling silver salver, London 1818 by Robert Garrard (reg. 11th Aug 1802)
Of circular form with cavetto edge and gadrooned rim, raised on three scroll feet, the field centre engraved with a coat-of-arms surmounted by a crest of a lion’s head erased and with motto below pro rege et patria. Fully marked to the reverse.
