A pair of early 20th century Iranian (Persian) silver cruet set, Isfahan circa 1930
Early Pahalvi dynasty, comprising a saltshaker and pepper pot, each of egg form raised on three cabriole legs with claw junctions. The pepper with engraved ghalam zani decoration of a band of peonies and arabesques, the base with rosettes, the salt with engraved trailing foliage, the base section engraved the same as pepper. Each marked underneath with standard mark (۸۴), and workshop mark. (2)
