Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the horizontal composition depicting a haloed Rajput ruler riding his impressive and heavily bejewelled steed, slaying a grey bull and followed promptly by three foot attendants, one holding a long parade shield, another with a tall spear, and the last one with a golden mace and long sword, the scene set en plein air with a palatial walled-garden in the background, all framed within a bold red border and black and white rulings, a few elements of the composition overlapping the border, mounted on cream card, 53.3cm x 42.3cm including the mount.
