A selection of early 20th century Iranian (Persian) silver cruets, Shiraz circa 1910-30

Late Qajar / early Pahlavi dynasty, comprising a pair of salts of compressed circular form upon three tube and ball feet, the bodies with deep chased monabbat-kari decoration of figures in various poses and occupation as well as animals, including camels, horses, donkeys, dogs and goats, each with a vacant shield shape cartouche to the front. Together with a further Shiraz salt of the same form decorated the same with various figures in a silversmith’s workshop, signed to a cartouche to the side Mahmud-i Shirazi محمود شيرازي Also, to include a Shiraz pepper pot, the top section surmounted by a ball finial with chased and pierced rosette top, the sides with deep chased decoration of a section of animals such as a lion, boar, ibex, and camel with figures, signed to a cartouche to the side.
