Of typical flaring cylindrical shape, with an everted rim, the exterior painted in polychrome enamels following the typical Qajar arrangement of 'miniature portraits and floral bouquets', with a decorative reticulate of cusped cartouches filled with portraits of Qajar beauties alternating with lush flower bouquets and foliage, all against a blue, green, and gold enamelled chequered grid, the interior a plain brass cup, 8.5cm diam. and 6cm high.
