A PERSIAN POLYCHROME-ENAMEL ON COPPER SAMOVAR
Isfahan, Iran 20th century of typical shape, the full body, bowl and tray all painted with gold and polychrome enamels in the typical Central Asian fashion, with cusped cartouches filled with Iranian buildings comprising the Si-o-seh pol, Ali Qapu Palace, Shah Mosque, Shahrestan Bridge, Monar Jonban and the Khaju Bridge all against an emerald green background enhanced with spiralling white trellis, further vegetal and floral motif bands around the neck. The samovar with white metal mounted feet, handles and spigot. 34.5cm high the samovar and 36cm long the tray.
