Each incised in the centre with a pair of mythical beasts amidst clouds with a flaming pearl of wisdom between, painted with stylised foliate sprays surrounding ruyi heads to the cavetto, all decorated with green, black and aubergine enamels on a vivid yellow ground, six character Qianlong marks to the bases, contained in a Japanese box, 13cm diameter.
