A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver goblet, Cutch circa 1890
Raj period, tapering cylindrical form upon a domed pedestal stem. The body with deep chased foliate scrolls with rosettes and hunting animals of a wild dog and a boar, a lion being speared by a hunter on horseback as it pursues an antelope, all between bands of stylised acanthus leaves. The base chased with foliate scrolls with rosettes, plain central stem. Gilt interior.
