A pair of Staffordshire porcelain poodles, circa 1820-50

A pair of Staffordshire porcelain poodles, circa 1820-50, both recumbant with a pup to their front and one climbing on their back, raised on cushion base covered with drapes decorated in pink, together with another similar model on a blue moulded base with gold anchor to underside and four other figures. (7)

The pair on pink drapes height 7cm x width 8cm

The pair with pups can be found in 'Dogs in English Porcelain' by Dennis G Rice, colour plate 82, under 'Unidentified Staffordshire Factories'
