A George IV 18 carat gold snuff box, London 1824 by Charles Rawlings (this mark reg. 28th Oct 1819)

Of rectangular form with rounded corners, engine turned decoration to the exterior with a vacant rectangular cartouche to the lid. The hinged lid raised by a plain scroll thumb piece. Fully marked to base and part-marked to lid.

Length – 7.1 cm / 2.475 inches

Weight – 73 grams / 2.347 ozt
