AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH EMPIRE PERIOD GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK the case surmounted by a figure of Cupid with a box flanked by a pair of swans, the sides with applied mounts of masks flanked by butterfly wings, on a plinth base and four toupie feet, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, lacking minute hand, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, lacking pendulum, 35cm high The clock is ticking but not fully tested or guaranteed.
