HAND-COLOURED PORTRAITS OF GENTLEMEN, c.1850. Five sixth plate daguerreotypes, one of a young boy sitting at a table with hat in hand, a seated male and female stood by his side, the female holding a book, likely taken in the same studio as the previous image, the top case part missing, one example of a seated balding gentleman in oversized Oliver Sarony case (1819-1879) with missing lid and photographer's gilt stamp verso, and two further portraits in fine condition; of a seated gentleman holding a book and a gentlemen with large moustache and riding crop.
