A near pair of Staffordshire porcelain poodles, circa 1835-50, each dog with puppies, decorated with granitic lion cut coats, and raised on cushion bases, along with two others modelled with top hats in their mouths, each on concave gold lined pillows, and two figures, (6)
The poodles with puppies can be found in 'Dogs in English Porcelain' by Dennis G Rice, colour plate 79, under 'Unidentified Staffordshire Factories'
