In the shape of a Christian cross, the surface worked and inlaid with bone, coloured wood and brass marquetry work (khatamkari), the micro-mosaic decoration consisting of hexagonal cartouches filled with star-shaped geometric motifs, a band of rosettes on the outer side, the back plain, mounted on a black metal stand, 36cm x 17.8cm excluding the stand.
